Chief Justice John Roberts was interviewed as part of C-SPAN's Supreme Court Week. He talked about a wide variety of topics, including the history of the court, its role in society, the role of the Chief Justice, and the process that unfolds at the Supreme Court - from how the court decides which cases to hear and how they ultimately decide these cases. The interview took place in the East Conference Room of the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice John G. Roberts was nominated to the bench by President George W. Bush. He has been serving as the Supreme Court Chief Justice since 2005. He succeeded Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist.
